I felt very lucky to be under the care of David. Not only was he extremely positive every time we met but he listened to my questions, answered them with the required detail, gave me faith in my recovery and how and when I could return to my various sports. Aside of this he is very down to earth and was kind enough to fit me in for a consultation even when I turned up a week early! Last and by no means least, the quality of the work that David achieved on my collar bone operation was amazing. The neatness and heal rate of my scar was very impressive and the speed at which my movement returned was very, very welcoming and not taken for granted I can promise. It was unfortunate to have had an accident like mine but the silver lining was being looked after by David and his wonderful wider team. Thank you all!! Simon

Went in with suspected pec tendon rupture and my MRI done. Doctor confirmed that I completely torn my right pec tendon from the bone. Decided to get surgery done as I'm a bodybuilder and won my British title with UKBFF in the super heavyweight class, so I really want get back to train in the near future. Immediately trusted the doctor and after less than 3 weeks from my assessment he called me in for surgery. All went well and now I'm on my rehab program as per instructions. I highly recommend this doctor.:)

This is the second time I have had surgery performed by Mr Ricketts. This first time was a complicated procedure thirteen years ago, under the NHS, on my right wrist. The procedure was so successful, which was vital to my job, and enabled me to continue working in a career dear to my heart. When I had problems with my shoulder, I was happy to go straight to Mr Ricketts as a private patient. The recent operation on my arthritic, immobile shoulder, has been a resounding success. The build up during my having injections and detailed discussions with Mr Ricketts was very helpful in helping me make important decisions about the future surgery, and indeed the cost. This was not a straightforward procedure, as with my wrist, but the expertise and proven experience Mr Ricketts has demonstrated, has made my life liveable yet again. I have 100% mobility in my right shoulder again.
